LC Energy has signed a distributor agreement with German Solar Monitoring specialists Solare Datensysteme.
“We are now part of the huge Solar-Log network monitoring more than 300,000 inverters worldwide.”
“Solar-Log provides us the opportunity to extend our capabilities in the Solar PV market by offering complete web-based monitoring systems. As well as providing home owners with day-to-day information about the performance of their systems, our larger customers will now be able to monitor their Solar installations from anywhere in the world. This could be critical if a fault occurs. We will be able to provide backup service as part of our support program and this will enable us to fix problems quickly.”
As a result, LC Energy can now provide solar panel performance and inverter data direct to a PC, or broadcasts the data to a dedicated monitoring LC - SOLARLOG WEB INTERFACE. Network connection can be accomplished via hardwiring to the logger or use of BlueTooth, WiFi or GPRS communications.
The systems are surprisingly inexpensive and optional annual service and support can be added at nominal costs which are easily justified in terms of captured information and return on investment.
Sample plant monitoring and product information is available and LC Energy can provide local information and pricing.
