Solar Farms
Solar Farms represent an excellent passive income investment opportunity. You just need some space, proximity to the electricity power grid, and lots of sunshine!!
Feed-in-tariffs are available for 3-phase power up to 30kW and as with Commercial Solar, returns of $21,000 - $25,500 per year can be achieved on the initial investment.
However, we understand issues of risk and concerns with new types of investments strategies, particular in the rural sector. So why not consider a Compact Solar Farm? Start with 10kW; consider the returns; grow the farm over a period of time.
A 10kW ground mounted systems will need an area of around 80m2 and should be fenced for security and to keep out large animals. The details can be discussed as part of any LC Energy proposal. Work with us and the technology and develop your knowledge and experience.
We’ve taken this path with a number of customers. A typical 10kW system will cost around $40k and can return over $8,500 per annum. That’s is an annual return of 15% and should take less than 5 years to pay for itself.
