The Solar-Log 200 is designed without a built-in display. It is connected to the inverter using a RS485 interface; The data from the plant monitoring system is supplied to the local network or to the internet via an ethernet interface. The web-based software makes configuration especially simple. The Solar-Log 200 is compatible with all popular inverter manufacturers.
No more losses due to unnoticed failure of individual strings or the entire plant: The Solar-Log 200 sends out alarms automatically via email or SMS. Daily yield notifications are also possible. Furthermore, all status and error messages can be conveniently called up from any web-enabled PC.
As for all Solar-Log™ devices, the Solar-Log 200 also contains web-based evaluation software. Performance data for individual strings can be compared as can output from other plants (optional).
The Solar-Log 200 possesses integrated memory for data logging. Furthermore all of the data can be saved manually on the local PC or automatically on a homepage. Subsequently incorporating it into an existing plant is no problem either: Data can be manually added or imported.
For the Solar-Log 200 we offer a comprehensive range of accessories and enhancements. Applications for handheld PCs and iPhones offer additional possibilities for monitoring and presentation in mobile use.
The Solar-Log 200 possesses a 2 gigabyte micro SD memory chip. The device saves data on it in five-minute intervals - uninterrupted, for 20 years. In addition, an extra capacitor buffer memory saves the data from the last 50 days just in case. All of the data can be saved manually on the local PC or automatically on a selected homepage in the internet.
The data is stored in the globally compatible CSV format, a simple text file in which individual data is separated by semicolons. This standard allows existing stored data to be read easily, and also to be quickly imported. Even manual additions of written records are thus completed in a matter of minutes.
With the Solar-Log 200 you are able to evaluate the yield of your house installation simply, quickly and reliably from your home PC. Data can also be easily integrated into your personal homepage. The web-based software allows both tabular and clear graphic display of daily, monthly and annual yields. The possibility of having the installer establish a connection to Solar-Log™ WEB increases functionality, for example by enabling current evaluation of comparisons between plants.
Every 15 seconds Solar-Log™ analyzes the inverter status, the yield profile and the characteristics of supply into the power network. Four coloured status LEDs on the device itself show whether everything is functioning smoothly or if there are malfunctions or failures.
With the Solar-Log200 you not only see the yield that your photovoltaic plant has already attained. The Solar-Log™ also conducts yield forecasts using the experienced data stored in the software. Deviations in the yield, for example due to blocked sunlight or damage can thus be quickly recognized and remedied.
t is not only damage which leads to a decreased output for the plant, aging modules do too. Solar-Log™ incorporates the so-called module degradation into the yield evaluation and takes into it account when analyzing errors.
With Solar-Log™ Easy installation it is now easier to install the Solar-Log™. The Solar-Log™ is doing automatically an inverter recognition on all most common inverters and the configuration of these inverters is done automatically within the Solar-Log™.
For the internet connection the Solar-Log™ is registering itself on the Solar-Log™ WEB registration server. The user can then pull the Solar-Log™ from there to his Solar-Log WEB™ Classic II account or Solar-Log™ WEB commercial edition account with the PC at his office.
The Solar-Log200 is optionally available with a Bluetooth module for wireless connection to the new inverter generation from the manufacturer SMA. This allows a cordless connection between the inverter and the Solar-Log™ - rapid and simple installation, with mounting as desired.
Updates for the firmware of the Solar-Log 200 are available free of charge at www.solar-log.com and can be updated automatically or manually.
